Title:Associate Scientist

Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading clinical-stage Biotechnology company developing innovative therapies to target unmet medical needs, with focus on inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

Our client is currently hiring for an Associate Scientist that is working on their innovative cellular biology team supporting the work to revolutionise the treatment of inflammatory diseases. You will be working on primary cell culturing and working with a number of in vitro assays including flow cytometry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of disease cellular assays
  • Evaluate and screen the performance of small molecules
  • Assist and contribute in the set up of experiments, following the lab protocols
  • Execute cellular experiments independently (i.e. fluorescence, ELISA, qPCR, flow cytometry etc)
  • Interpret results using Lab Notebooks, Lab Reports etc

Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Life Sciences field
  • Working experience with cell culture and/or primary immune cells
  • Experience with immunological techniques, (i.e. fluorescence, ELISA, qPCR, flow cytometry etc)
