We are looking for our new Business Developer superhero to scale Sortlist in Italy!
About Sortlist
We are a dynamic scale-up that plans to change the global market in terms of marketing and communication, making the best matches with suppliers in the marketing and digital field. Our mission is to create conditions for successful collaborations in the B2B industry. The company is currently present in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Romania, Tunisia, Madagascar & Philippines & plans to scale up its presence around the world.
Sortlist just raised 11M€, with this Serie B fundraising we have the ambition to continue to grow our team and we’re looking to actively launch our activity in the United Kingdom, Italy and the United States. We need your help to get there faster.
What are you going to do?
- You will be the foundation of the Italian Market to bring it to the next level.
- You are responsible for the entire process, from prospecting to closing deals with agencies, as well as the demand side (companies with a marketing need): you will give phone support to the clients to make sure their request is mature enough for them to meet the agencies.
- Your goal will be to create as many successful business stories as possible.
- You will make use of (video) email, video calls, face-to-face meetings, Social Media (Linkedin) and of course your telephone.
- Report to our Global Head of Business Development, as well coached by our Head Of Sales Operations.
- With your enthusiasm and persuasiveness, you and your team are building a client portfolio consisting of B2B providers, mainly digital, web and creative agencies.
- You understand the needs of the customer and can easily translate them into a commercial solution. You think along with customers to find the best solution for their current strategy.
- You are a star in analyzing the market in order to find new opportunities for Sortlist.
- You are a real ambassador of Sortlist and have no problem networking at online events.
What is your profile?
- You have an enormous drive to be successful. You have the flexibility and mentality to find things out for yourself within a young team and make them a success.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales is required. Experience in an agency is a plus.
- You can work independently and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Not afraid of making cold calls.
- Good knowledge of Digital Marketing or the sector of agencies is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral skills in Italian and English. A third language is always a plus.
- Participating in an international scale-up is your dream!
