Responsibilities

• Analysing user requirements and/or coordinating the development of new adaptations/applications, allocating and monitoring the work plan, informing and advising on the correct operation of the applications in order to provide the business with the IT applications it needs and to ensure the continuous improvement of the applications.
• Supporting the design of solutions and monitoring the operation of the team under his/her responsibility in order to guarantee the management, continuous development and improvement of the area concerned, as well as the satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  
  

RESULT AREAS :

• To be the reference person on the IT side in the eyes of the business (Importers and subsidiaries) for all new and used vehicle sales activity.
• Report to the customer and his management on a regular basis to keep them informed of the progress of the project/maintenance/versioning.
• Reports any difficulties encountered (lack of resources, bottlenecks, overlaps, collaboration difficulties, technical/IT problems, etc.) as well as deviations in scope, cost and timing to his/her management, while proposing solutions.
• Maintains a central view of his/her business perimeter
• Analyses customer requests and challenges them. Responsible for functional and technical analysis
• Ensures that the scope is prioritised and that requests are clarified with the Product Owner or business contact point.
• To monitor the maintenance of applications (KTLON - keep the light on), their development (Business Capabilities) and projects related to the area(s) for which it is responsible.
• Be responsible for the delivery of the projects requested, their quality and adherence to budgets and schedules within his/her remit.
• Ensuring that new tools, procedures and software are accepted by users.
• Ensuring that all business requests are known to his/her manager and prioritised by the Product Owner.
• Acting as a technical and functional expert within the assigned IT area, studying market trends and developments and solving complex problems in order to make optimum use of the knowledge acquired.
• Analysing and advising on critical issues, problems and incidents, as well as coordinating technical solutions to ensure that the department and the IT solutions developed function optimally.
• Promoting and documenting the simplification and improvement of complex processes related to his/her field.
• Providing last-level helpdesk support (analysing functional problems, implementing lasting solutions and, where necessary, collecting change requests via this channel).
  
  

Profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
• Ability to learn and master new applications and technologies quickly
• Expertise in project management
• Excellent communication skills, assertive, assertive, curious, collaborative
• Diplomatic and able to adapt to different audiences
• Organised and good at managing priorities, autonomous and proactive
• Knowledge of the automotive sector is an asset
• Problem-solving, very good analytical skills, critical and logical mind
• Good team spirit
• Very good knowledge of French and Dutch (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
