Our client, a young and dynamic company which operates in the food and beverages sector, is looking for its Chief Accountant (F/M) who will be responsible for :

  • The accounting from A to Z ;
  • Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer ;
  • Managing and working with a team of FTEs ;
  • The improvement of existing business processes ;
  • Managing VAT declarations ;
  • Stock accounting ;
  • Standard costing ;
  • Monitoring and controlling balance sheet accounts (inventory, prepaid expenses…) ;
  • Managing statutory audits and the analytical P&L.

We are looking for someone with :

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting ;
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Chief Accountant (or similar) ;
  • A good knowledge of French, Dutch and English ;
  • A good knowledge of all finance processes and VAT rules ;
  • Analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
