A leading data/analytics company is growing and needs a Cloud Engineer to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage AWS-hosted SaaS infrastructure, prioritizing performance, security, and compliance.
  • Develop hybrid-cloud solutions to seamlessly integrate on-premises systems with AWS.
  • Optimize infrastructure costs and efficiency through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Implement redundancy, backups, and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability.
  • Establish security best practices for IAM, network segmentation, and data protection.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment automation.
  • Provide expertise in Kubernetes and containerized microservices.
  • Develop and fine-tune microservices using Java EE, Spring, and Golang.
  • Work with SQL databases to enable fast and reliable data retrieval.
  • Maintain system reliability, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring and incident response.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive AWS and SaaS architecture expertise, ideally in data analytics or BI.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Helm.
  • Proficiency in Golang, TypeScript, and Java EE.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus (nice to have).
  • Experience with Python and backup/recovery tools like Velero is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is an advantage.

Up to 80k gross + package
