Do you have successful sales and people management experience within the B2B and B2C? Are you not only capable of developing a strategic vision for the Belgian organisation, but also pragmatic to implement it?

Become the lead of the go-to-market sales strategy and implementation

  • You engage, develop, and lead the Belgium’s sales management team, consisting of 5 direct reports and 40 indirect reports.
  • For the segment/channel in Belgium, you build sales strategies & plans in order to develop market share and deliver expected top and bottom-line results.
  • You identify significant business opportunities, pinpoint existing and/or potential problem areas and assist sales force where appropriate.
  • You develop and monitor the yearly sales budget and you manage as well OPEX and CAPEX related to the distribution channels.
  • You drive continuous improvement and commercial excellence across the organization to generate value to customers – service, capability, efficiency, and productivity.
  • You liaise and collaborate with cross-functional teams of the company to execute commercial plans and deliver against desired service levels.
  • With internal support, you are responsible for the internal communication in the Belgian organisation.
  • You are the informal leader of the local Management Team and chairman of the local Works Council.

Strong networker, visionary, go-getter

  • You have a master’s degree (business, finance) and at least 8 years of relevant experience as a Commercial/Sales Director.
  • Demonstrated sales track record in managing multiple channels while seeking new opportunities.
  • You engage people by your charismatic and inspirational personality.
  • Proficient networker. Ability to develop and leverage relationships with key influencers. Existing network with architects and/or construction contractors is an asset.
  • You have strong influencing and people skills on the one hand, and sufficient analytical skills on the other hand.
  • Conceptual thinking to develop a strategy that aligns market opportunities with our strengths and provides direction to achieve our goals.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French and you have an excellent knowledge of English.
