Details about the client: Our client, located in Brussels, is a Belgian scale-up. They are currently looking for a Compliance and Legal Office to strengthen their team. If you want to evolve in a small company where they prone a healthy work-life balance, then this opportunity is for you!

Description


Your responsability - Compliance and Legal Advisor:

  • You ensure the proper implementation of regulations applicable to the business activities
  • You proactively follow the evolutions of the regulations and propose necessary adaptations
  • You prepare and conduct training sessions yourself, communicate changes and evolutions, control the effective application
  • You advise the teams on the best way to implement new projects in order to respect the regulatory obligations
  • You report monthly to management on compliance, potential evolutions and progress
  • You coordinate the implementation of evolutions in collaboration with the concerned teams
  • You are in charge of contacts with authorities
  • You participate in the meetings of commissions and legal committees at sectoral level
  • You are responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents
  • You deal with possible legal claims or other disputes
  • You support the work of other departments in legal matters, as well as the obligations of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly.

Profiles


Your profile - Compliance and Legal Advisor:

  • You hold a degree in law
  • You have at least 2 years of experience
  • You speak French and you have a strong knowledge in Dutch
