• You play a central role in conveying messages to different target groups.
• Complex, scientific content can be effortlessly translated into messages tailored to each target group, with attention to scientific accuracy and the essence of the content.
• You mainly do editorial work at NIRAS, for example, on surface disposal and research into deep disposal. This can range from texts for the website, press kits, press releases and Q&As to LinkedIn posts and speeches.
• You will ensure the coherence of the messages in our publications for different target groups.
• You bear the final responsibility for the content and grammatical accuracy of the published content.
• You will work with our translation service to ensure that our texts are available in Dutch, French and English.
  
  

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication, journalism, teacher training science or equivalent and at least several years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• You combine a passion for language with an interest in science.
• You have a good feel for communication in general and for communication related to scientific and social affairs in particular.
• You can convey messages in a concise and attractive way to a varied audience.
• Above all, you are an enthusiastic and proactive person who is eager to take on a new challenge.
• You have a sense of responsibility and distinguish yourself by your utmost accuracy.
• You are a team player, but you are also able to work independently.
• You show initiative and are stress-resistant and versatile.
• You have a sense of organization and are able to set priorities.
• You master the usual office software, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• You have a perfect command of Dutch and a good knowledge of spoken and written French.
