Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Credit Controller (m/f/x)to join a company based in Zaventem.

Our client is active in the IT sector. As a Credit Controller, you report directly to the Credit Manager Benelux and you are primarily focused on supporting the business in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The scope of responsibilities for this job as Credit Controller includes:
  • New account risk assessment and customer validation ;
  • Continuous risk assessment of existing accounts, reviewing credit limits and managing risk ;
  • Collaborating with Credit Insurers to ensure maximum insurance cover on the customer portfolio ;
  • Collaborating with the Commercial team and the Finance team based in the UK, Poland and with other colleagues in EMEA ;
  • Exploring various types of securities with customers ;
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner ;
  • Sales ledger maintenance ;
  • Create Monthly and Quarterly reporting.
The requested qualifications for this job as Credit Controller include:
  • Relevant Financial or Commercial Education ;
  • Fluency in Dutch and French, as well as a good level of English ;
  • Minimum one year of experience with Credit Management and/or Credit Control ;
  • Experience with ERP and Credit Management systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus ;
  • You are a strong communicator with good organizational sensitivity and a team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn ;
  • You are able to balance support of the business and limiting credit risks
  • and to recognize potential risks to the company that should be escalated ;
  • You have a hands-on mentality. You are able to work under pressure at times while maintaining accuracy.
