CSR Corporate Communication Manager

????MISSION

As an agent of the transformation, you act as a facilitator and catalyst for accelerating sustainable and responsible business growth, protecting & growing Bel Belgium positive reputation, while rooting CSR strategy inside & outside the company (press, retailers).

Corporate Social Responsibility (60%) / Corporate communication (40%)

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum level of education and professional experience needed

  • Minimum level of education and professional experience needed:
  • 4 to 7 years experiences (CSR/Corp coms, inhouse or agency)
  • Expertise in sustainability and socio-environmental topics
  • Experience in corporate communications
  • Experience in strategy and business case definition
  • Experience in working closely within a multi-functional environment.
  • Comfortable with international environment and matrixial global organization
  • Comfortable with clients strategic
  • Occasional travel to the Netherlands office

???? Main Responsibilities

CSR strategy (60%): Deploy CSR global strategy by rooting CSR culture internally, implementing local initiatives and ensuring communication to our stakeholders.

  • Grow internal local CSR Culture (Northern Europe cluster)
  • Develop & feed local team capability & ownership on CSR topics:
  • Climate change
  • Sustainable responsibilities
  • Nutrition
  • Social responsibility
  • Initiate & support department CSR objectives (I act)
  • Focus on the climate change & sustainable development & nutrition
  • Build & raise our local positive impact on communities and environment.
  • Maintain & enrich collaborations with local external partners
  • Identify & implement locally relevant CSR projects
  • Strengthen our relationship with our key stakeholders by leveraging CSR topics
  • Ensure conversation with retailers around CSR topics
  • Collaborate with brand managers to develop BSR
  • Identify communication opportunities on CSR topics (cf. Corporate Com Plan)

Corporate Communication (40%): Protect BEL Benelux reputation and build (positive) corporate communication.

  • Monitor to understand local issues and identify reputation opportunities and threats
  • Prevent crisis and protect Bel reputation at local level
  • Deploy and adapt locally Bel Corporate Communication & PA strategy, plans and messaging
  • Identify, manage and coordinate local agency.
  • Coordinate all internal and external stakeholders involved in corporate communications and PA activities.

  • Level of support & collaboration on CSR & SI for other departments
  • Strong network of partners & allies (related to CSR & PA)
