Mission

In order to support Candriam’s position as leader in sustainability, Candriam needs to meet high standards regarding CSR.
The Candriam Institute has become an important part of Candriam’s positioning with a significant budget which requires close follow-up.
S&CD needs junior resources for supporting this growing CSR and philanthropy activity.

Responsabilities

  • Work on Candriam sustainability certifications (25%)
    • Help coordinate and contribute to PRI annual transparency report (https://www.unpri.org/signatory-directory/candriam-investors-group/995.article)
    • Help answer ESG- related consultations /surveys

  • Help develop and monitor Candriam’s CSR Roadmap (35%)
    • Monitor CSR trends, best practices and disclosure standards
    • Help formalize and follow up Candriam’s CSR Roadmap with Candriam key stakeholders
    • Support the preparation of a CSR committee twice a year
    • Support the preparation of a CSR certification
    • Support the Communications team for Candriam’s yearly CSR report
    • Help Communications and HR to raise staff CSR awareness and engagement

  • Social Impact & Philanthropy (40%):
    • Draw up and keep up to date a panorama of social impact initiatives and organisations corresponding with Candriam’s objectives
    • Support the Due Diligence and the administrative set-up for selected initiatives
    • Liaise with advisors, foundations and associations
    • Help implement the impact-monitoring of supported initiatives
    • Support the preparation of a Candriam Institute Board meeting (4xpa)
    • Support the Communications team for a regular external and internal reporting on Candriam’s philanthropic commitments

Profile

  • General understanding of finance and investment management
  • Bachelor or Master in Economics, Finance or Marketing/Communications , Sustainable Development
  • Having a special interest in ESG, sustainable development, social impact and philanthropy
  • Good analytical & communication skills
  • Proficient with Digital tools & media
  • Fluent in French and English
