Job Details
ISS is seeking talented full-time data analysts for its Eastern European markets. The position is based in the Brussels office.
As an integral part of the European Data Operations team, you will be responsible for collecting comprehensive data based on information in the companies’ public documents (annual reports, reference documents, etc.), notably concerning the board composition, related-party transactions, executives’ remuneration, auditors, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collect and Analyze the information with regards to the local codes of best practice in corporate governance and ISS voting policy.
- Address internal queries and requests to ensure data captured is aligned with methodology and policy guidelines.
- Escalate data interpretation issues, as needed.
- Participate in working committees/ projects and other tasks aside from core responsibilities.
- Develop market expertise in corporate governance, investment, and shareholder issues.
- Required languages: English and Polish. French is a plus.
- A relevant master’s degree in law, political sciences, economics, or in the process of obtaining such a degree.
- The ability to assimilate large quantities of information, work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
- An organized and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines.
