Your job as a Data Research Analyst

As part of the Business Development team in Gent, you conduct in-depth data analysis to track and report on sales and profitability evolutions for our 4 spare part divisions (Car, Motorcycle, Powerproducts and Marine). In combination with the competitor information you deliver a gap analysis and suggest areas for future developments towards the Business development manager.

You get energy from

  • Data Analytics: you collaborate with branches & distributors on market research information and data exchange and conduct in-depth data analysis to report on sales and profitability evolution in order to advise on growth opportunities.
  • Reporting on different business KPI’s with an eye on margin management and advising on actions to take.
  • Competitor Analysis: you define a clear product positioning and value differentiation based on the gathered insights and collected competitor information for our 4 divisions (Car, Motorcycle, Powerproducts and Marine).
  • Project Support: you assist in the execution of various business development projects.

Your strenghts

  • Your ability to interpret complex data sets, your strong communication skills to convey data-driven insights effectively and your ability to convert data insights into clear information and actions are your greatest assets.
  • You combine your bachelor’s degree with a first experience (2-3 years) in the automotive industry which is mandatory.
  • Expertise in data analysis and business intelligence tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) is a must.
  • Experience in market research is a plus.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
