Job Description Demand Manager

About You

We are looking for a Demand Manager, located in any of the EMEAI Commercial Hubs. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the business aligned demand management process. You will consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders, generate the consensus demand plan, facilitate the monthly demand review meeting, collaborate with supply planning to manage demand execution and interface with the centralized demand planning and analytics team for the business.

Also, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Supports and trains Demand planners on tools and processes.
  • Orchestrates the overall Demand Review process.
  • Proactively coaches the Demand team in the Demand process.
  • Schedules the Demand Review per the IBP calendar.
  • Coordinates monthly Demand process through gathering, organizing, and analysis of the demand data.
  • Maintains a log of key demand plan assumptions.
  • Consolidates inputs to recommend an aggregate, unconstrained demand plan represented in volume units and dollars.
  • Facilitates the Demand Review (DR) meeting including: issue identification, agenda preparation, consolidation and distribution of Demand Review deck, and the issuing of meeting minutes and action items.
  • Leads the Development of “what if” scenarios that test the Demand Plan sensitivity and identify potential gap closing solutions.
  • Identifies, develops and implements process improvement plans to optimize the Demand Management process to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth.
  • Coordinates with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Supply to maintain continuous integrated resolution of issues as they arise, as well as day to day threats and opportunities to the plan.
  • Leads the creation of the annual bottoms up Budget Plan exercise.
  • Manages the demand planning context of OMP and serves as a key contact and trainer for users in the tool.
  • Attends weekly pulse meetings for demand execution.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A degree discipline in Business, Economics or Supply Chain
  • Experience with ECC, OMP, APO Demand / Supply planning and Diamond Systems Reporting.
