Extrusion Europe is seeking a new Fabrication Manager to join our great Operational Excellence team!

You will be a key person in the continuous improvement of the fabrication area of our plants in Europe, with a focus on Automotive related projects, with the end goal to make better products faster at lower cost.

Each of our plants has its own opportunities for development. Some need small and incremental steps to ensure improvement of a specific production process and some others require help to eliminate waste processes or streamline operations.

As Fabrication Manager, you carry everywhere your “Operational Excellence toolbox” made of an indisputable knowledge of fabrication, automatization, PLC, EBS and CAD CAM providing you with the structure to plan and execute well improvement projects needed to build a resilient manufacturing unit. You are a motivated self-starter, quick at identifying the objectives, fair in allocating tasks & responsibilities and precise in measuring outcomes.

You are a good communicator, able to make him/herself understood at various levels in the organization and able to convince stakeholders to contribute to their best capabilities. Aware of the principles and challenges of change management, you are able to quickly build relationships based on honesty and transparency with the key local stakeholders. Approachable and patient, you have proven to be able to stand firm about your goals, but simultaneously remain flexible about your methods.

Last but not least, you have confidence to travel a lot, typically several days, every week. You have some freedom in organizing your schedule and business trips, but we are aware that business travel can put strains on family life, so it is essential that you have the right personal support and know how to maintain relationships and work-life balance when you far away from your home.
