Chevron Belgium is accepting online applications for the position of Financial & Business Support Analyst – Global Marine Lubricants, located in Ghent, Belgium.
The Global Marine and Europe Lubricants Finance & Business Support group covers a variety of responsibilities including Accounting and Reporting, Taxation, Cash Management, External & Internal Audits, Business & Decisions Support.

Key responsibilities are:
In the role of Financial & Business Support Analyst – Global Marine Lubricants, your responsibilities are the following:
Partner with our offshore shared services center to ensure proper recording of transactions
Provides accounting expertise, direction and guidance to the Global Marine Lubricants Organization & to the shared service centres (MSSC & BASSC) recording the transactions
Manages external accounting service providers to ensure:
- Statutory accounts completed & filed on time
- Manage the external audit
- Oversight of outsourced accounting service provider
Strategic & Business Planning Facilitation
Business Decision Analytical Support & Performance Management Reporting
- Responsible for management reporting, trend and variance analysis
- Main contact and advisor for Global Marine Lubricants management for financial and accounting issues
- Provides input into the financial forecast
- SME in MOS and Analytics Studio and provides analytical support to the Sales organization on customer, product and port profitability.
Customer Master Data Maintenance
Business Process improvements and Digitizing efforts
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master in business economics (TEW, HIR)
- Min 4 years experience in a similar capacity or external audit environment
- Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills
- Team player with drive for continuous improvement
- Independent organizer with excellent interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, highly reliable, and motivated team player with good follow through and problem- solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with different stakeholders, also remotely
- Comfortable in an international environment
- Experience using tools such as MS Power BI and Power Apps to solve business problems
- SAP experience
