A company active in the real estate sector is currently looking to hire a Finance Manager Belux to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in finance and in management, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will have an essential role in it.

Your main responsibilities as the new Finance Manager Belux will include:

  • Monitoring, optimising, and coordinating the month-end closing process
  • Developing effective and reliable reporting, good financial processes, good risk management and the appropriate controls
  • Analysing balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the share service center on a periodic basis
  • Managing Accounts Receivable and Payable, and Bank reconciliations
  • The evolution of financial analysis of the monthly figures and the determination of the ensemble and reliability of these figures
  • Cash flow forecast drawing for the BELUX entities
  • Sustaining good relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors and consultants
  • Collaborating with other departments such as Legal, HR, Company Secretarial and the business
  • Survey of the sales tax return (VAT)

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in accounting
  • You have 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role (Finance Manager or Accounting Manager)
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus

Your strengths:

  • Excellent knowledge in Excel
  • You are ambitious and hands-on; you are always ahead and thinking about the next steps
  • Through your previous experience you have built a knowledge of IFRS reporting US/Belgium/Luxembourg GAAP as well
  • You have a good knowledge of local requirements such as payroll, local taxes….
  • A good experience of HFM and Workday is considered as a plus
