A company active in the FMCG sector is currently looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their offices in Diegem. Thanks to your experience in finance, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will report directly to the Finance & Operations Director EMEA.

Your main responsibilities as the new Financial Controller will include:

  • Preparing the financial budget and monthly forecast
  • Building all the necessary reports and provide intermediate analyses between forecasts and summarise the main differences for the Finance and Operations Director
  • Analyse monthly actuals results versus budget and forecast at all levels and provide a summary of the analyses to the Finance and Operation Director
  • Work closely with the business analyst to ensure adequate sales reporting and to help build the adequate business reports needed for the sales team to make the necessary decisions

Your profile:

  • You have a University degree in Economic Science or a bachelor’s degree in finance and Accounting
  • You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar finance position, with a focus on budget and planning
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English

Your strengths:

  • You have excellent knowledge of Excel and you are hands on with tools like Qlik, Power BI and Hyperion
  • You are proactive, a hard worker, you can deal with a changing environment
