A specialized company in offering finance consulting services to spin-offs/start-ups in the healthcare/tech/biotech sector is looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen its finance team in the Limburg region. In this function, there is a strong focus on investments, M&A’s and due diligence activities.

Your responsibilities as a Financial Controller :

  • Preparing accurate monthly and statutory financial reporting
  • Creating performance reports for investors and stakeholders
  • Overseeing cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Managing expense allocations and reviewing intercompany flows
  • Monitoring treasury, burn rate, and liquidity planning
  • Supporting audit preparation and coordination with external advisors
  • Developing KPI dashboards to guide decision-making
  • Assisting with fundraising, M&A, and due diligence activities
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director

Your profile :

  • You have a Master’s degree in Finance and a first experience in Finance (3-6 years audit, finance consulting, financial controlling, etc.)
  • You speak and write fluently in both Dutch and English
  • You are confident with Excel and general MS Office tools
  • You work autonomously and take ownership of financial topics
  • You are proactive and eager to work with modern ERP or IT systems
