A company active in the FMCG sector is currently looking to hire a Head of Accounting to join their offices in Brussels.

In this role you will have a real impact in the growth of the company, and you will be the CFO’s right hand.

Your main responsibilities as the new Head of Accounting will include:

  • Manage and coach a team of 4 accountants
  • Execute, manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department like month and year-end process, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, payroll, etc.
  • Produce financial statements, fill and tax returns, complete financial reporting
  • Coordinate and complete the audits
  • Improve systems and procedures and propose improvements

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Economic, Finance or equivalent
  • You have approximately 10 years of relevant experience
  • You have experience in a production environment as accounting manager
  • You are fluent in English and you have knowledge of Dutch and / or French
