Are you passionate about pre-clinical research and would like to develop your skills further? Our client, a growing life sciences company based in Belgium, is seeking a Head of Pre-Clinical to join their team and lead the development of cell and gene therapy within their state-of-the-art lab facilities.Responsibilities
  • Serve as the scientific and technical referent for the implementation of animal protocols
  • Manage financial budgets and expenses, control costs
  • Team management, recruitment, work organization, work safety
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Coordinate scientific projects and research studies
  • Drive continuous improvement in animal welfare
Requirements
  • University degree in veterinary medicine, science, engineering (or similar)
  • 10+ years of experience in animal facility management and animal studies
  • Knowledge of FELASA, AAALAC, and GLP/GMP standards
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Coordinate the development and monitoring of scientific projects and R&D studies (drafting, supervision of research and results, publications)
  • experience in toxicology, pathology, histology
  • Fluent English and French
