About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing, with a strong presence in Belgium and a reputation for innovation, quality, and sustainability. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Hygiene & Cleaning Manager to lead sanitation strategy and operations. This newly created role focuses on contamination prevention, process standardization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

As a Hygiene & Cleaning Manager your responsibilities are:
  • Develop and implement sanitation procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Lead and train a team of cleaning staff to maintain efficient operations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate hygiene best practices.
  • Manage the budget and resources for cleaning and sanitation activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of cleaning procedures and outcomes.
  • Respond promptly to any hygiene-related incidents or emergencies.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Hygiene & Cleaning Manager should have:
  • Degree in engineering or similar by experience
  • Experience in food or chemical industry hygiene management
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Assertive, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
