Soda Ash & Derivatives is a world leader for the production of soda ash and sodium bicarbonate, sold primarily to the flat and container glass industries but also used in detergents, agro, and food industries. It provides resilient profitability thanks to good pricing, dynamics growing at GDP rate, underpinned by high-quality assets.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

You will join the Marketing team dedicated to our Soda Ash Business Unit, one of the oldest and historical activity Solvay, those mission is to promote the BU activties. As an intern, you will have the following missions:
  • Market research to identify, associations, business partners, NGOs, official institutions, influencers in the global plastics industry and associate end-markets;
  • Identification of channels to market and understanding of the different industries’ value chains impacted by our solutions;
  • Active participation in the construction of digital marketing content and webinars presentations;
  • Update marketing documentation (content and layout);
  • Prepare content, liaising with Communication, for social media posts.
  • Prepare articles, ads

Education and Experience

  • Currently studying Business Administration or Marketing
  • Excellent understanding on Digital Marketing
  • Any kind of previous experience (internships/apprenticeship) is ideal

Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (in particular PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Proficiency in English required, any other language (French, Dutch, German) is a plus
  • Customer-oriented with good networking skills
