Skills, knowledge, experience required:
  • Proven experience working with MS Windows Server 2012r2 and MS Windows Server 2016;
  • Proven knowledge in Networking Concepts;
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting user access, permissions and profiles;
  • Proven experience working with MS System Centre Configuration Manager;
  • Proven experience working with MS Active Directory Objects, user accounts and permissions;
  • 3 years’ experience working in a ICT CIS environment;
  • 3 years’ experience supporting IT users, desktop hardware and software;
  • 3 years’ experience working in an IT administration role;
  • Knowledge of the capabilities and deployment of Personal Computers (PC);
  • Knowledge of current operating systems and office automation software.
Duties/role:
  • Installing, maintaining and operating the full range of computing, printing and network devices required to deliver systems and services for customer office automation;
  • Installing and configuring for use, COTS software on networked and standalone workstations;
  • Installing and configuring client software on workstations;
  • Configuring upon request local server software and configuring special peripheral devices;
  • Creating, maintaining and troubleshooting user access issues for static and mobile devices;
  • Working with Organizational Units in MS Active Directory and Group Policy Objects;
  • Executing support requests, work orders and other tasks;
  • Preparing software packages for automatic deployment;
  • Contributing to IT Security compliance and remediation;
  • Contributing to incident, change, configuration and asset management processes through ITSM toolkit;
  • Computing Technology Industry Associating (CompTIA A+) or MS Certified IT Professional.
