As a Junior Account Manager, you will closely work with our Sales & Marketing Director on the development of the comany and, in particular, on building a sales pipeline and the acquisition of new clients. You will also make sure that your existing and new clients receive an excellent and comprehensive service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales pipeline building and new client acquisition (through prospection campaigns, tenders/RFPs or otherwise),
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Director,
  • Develop strong relationships with other team members (Placement, Claims, Processing),
  • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients,
  • Deal with client renewals and mid-term adjustments, and
  • Behave with all clients (both internal and external) fairly and ethically.

  • Commercial flair,
  • Able to establish strong client focused relationships built upon the ability to deliver a high standard of service,
  • Ambitious but realistic,
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing,
  • Attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation and presentations,
  • Ability to work effectively within a team,
  • Ability to prioritise and organize work,
  • Digital frontrunner (learn how to use our end-to-end IT platform, CRM),
  • Competent software skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point,
  • Able to react positively to change – resilient and calm under pressure, and
  • Willingness to contribute to the development of a new entrepreneurial corporate broker in a competitive environment, which requires flexibility and a very positive attitude.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience of working in a sales/broker or insurer role, preferably in the area of Property, Casualty & Financial Lines
  • Fluently in Dutch, French and English is a plus, and
  • Bachelor degree Finance/Insurance or University Master degree (preferably Law or Economics but open to speak to candidates with another background).
