Your Role

Operating mainly from Louvain-La-Neuve (and from home), you are in charge of the controlling tasks of the legal market units, the IT & HR activities and personnel costs. This will consist of:

  • Assistance with monthly closing activities including:
  • Variance analyses (P&L and balance sheet)
  • (Assistance) in preparing a few manual entries
  • Comments in management reporting
  • Preparation of management reporting (incl. P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • Monthly reporting in Magnitude (package of the Group Lefebvre Sarrut)
  • Cash flow for the entire activity
  • Preparing Year End closing files
  • Revenue and Profitability analysis at product level / customer segment level
  • Budgeting and forecasts (Sales, Cost of Sales and overhead) as well as related follow-up.
  • Maintenance, support & assistance in the design of various group reporting and forecast tools (Qlik Sense and excel).
  • Supporting role in the setting up of new ERP (in 2023) and common methodologies/procedures in Belgium
  • Preparation and provision of statistical data to various external institutions
  • Ad-hoc analyses and support to the CFO.

As financial controller, you will report to the CFO of the company and work closely with the other controller, the accounting team and the business.

Your profile

  • You have a Master Degree in Business Administration (Economics, Finance).
  • You have a first experience in financial controlling or audit.
  • Your analytical thinking capacity is high.
  • You have a knowledge of Qlik Sense (or a similar tool) and MS Excel.
  • Experience in an ERP environment is an asset.
  • You are quality-driven, punctual and accurate.
  • You are communicative, flexible and a real team player.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and you have good knowledge of French and English.
