Support our product engineers by studying, testing and implementing changes, cost reductions, optimizations and standardizations to existing transmissions and converters in order to deliver a technically superior and cost-effective product for our customers.

What will you do ?

  • Specialize in mechanical and hydraulic knowledge of the involved hydrodynamic transmissions and their functionalities
  • Analyse field/customer questions on failures, interchangeability of parts, development of new transmission configurations, … etc
  • Coordinate, discuss and study requests on changes to the different products, taking in account the functionalities, cost structure, consequences for production and aftermarket, … etc
  • Take technical decisions on feasibility of VAVE and resourcing projects, take a lead in the execution of these projects
  • Contribute to the change procedure. Make change requests and work orders for creating and changing drawings, BOM’s, configurators. Coordinate between the different departments on the impact of the change and follow-up where needed
  • At introduction of new products, check on the configuration of the parts in function of the customer demands and update technical administration
  • Give technical support to the different production departments and suppliers. Coordinate validations, make technical studies, calculations, … etc
  • Analyse, adjust and create technical documentation

What are we looking for ?

  • Team player
  • Master in Mechanics or Electro-Mechanics
  • Good communication skills (oral, written, presenting)
  • Eager to lear, to share & document knowledge within a team
  • Customer oriented
  • Keen to participate in the full process to have his implementations working in a finalized product
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent in English (writing & speaking) and Dutch is an advantage
  • Relevant work experience can be an advantage, but is not required. As long that there is an interest in mechanics and automotive
