Job Summary

You are responsible for on-time delivery of the correct parts at the best price by following all internal procedures.

You are the key person between NHV and the suppliers.

Your office is located in Ostend. You live within a 40-minute drive radius of NHV.

Respons. & areas

Order processing of purchase

  • Manage the purchasing of parts and services so our maintenance runs smoothly

Master data

  • You analyze and maintain all data in our system in a correct way
  • Determine the standard specifications and oversee the administrative processing of files

Savings

  • Follow up commercial opportunities to ensure that the cost efficiency of the purchasing processes is permanently improved.
  • Continuously evaluate and challenge the suppliers and organization to optimize the cost efficiency of the purchasing process

AOG

  • Provide AOG Support, every 5 weeks you are on duty outside office hours.

NEGOTIATE CONTRACTS

  • Request quotations, select suppliers and negotiate the purchasing of products and services within the limits of your responsibility to ensure that best possible terms and conditions are obtained for the organization regarding price, quality and delivery times.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that purchasing takes place based on their requirements taking into account the general interests regarding cost efficiency
  • Ensure you are well-informed about the evolutions and developments related to purchasing and that your knowledge is up-to-date within the context of the evolutions to ensure your credibility can be strengthened by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge

Experience

  • Experience with an ERP system (Navision, SAP)
  • Experience as a purchaser or in administration
  • Bachelor degree or equal by experience
