Your new role

As a Lead Architect, you will be an integral part of the transformation of the entire IT ecosystem of the company. You will work with various stakeholders to create architectural recommendations. You will be responsible for validating key functionality that needs to be brought in or out of the scope of different applications. You will also be responsible for validating the analysis and design of projects while ensuring consistency with the Application Architects and Domain Architects. Finally you will challenging the Solutions Architects team in order to have the most adequate solutions.

You will use your communication skills to facilitate dialogue between business teams, IT teams and external IT partners to provide adequate and reliable business-IT solutions and alignment between the major stakeholders.

In addition to working across business units from the company, you will also be involved in the implementation of solutions for finance, procurement, logistics, manufacturing or even human resources. In short, you will be working on a wide variety of projects involving important stakeholders.

What you will need to succeed

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. You have proven experience in projects that include technologies such as SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Cloud or SaaS Solution in large companies. In addition, you have a good knowledge of the different technologies relevant to business applications and you have a deep technical understanding of enterprise architecture and frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, …).

Finally, you have excellent interpersonal skills and you are able to work on many different levels internally and externally. In short, you have a natural authority and are able to bring about change at a global level within an organisation.
