We are looking for a Project controller to join our finance team located in Antwerp. If you are an enthusiastic, self-driven problem solver, have relevant experience and great communication skills, this is the perfect time to join our fast-growing finance team! What we offer:

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You’ll Do

  • Preparing monthly project forecasting & update cash flow
  • Support in Project order entry and invoicing
  • Responsible for Project cost controlling in SAP
  • Participate project reviews and share your finding with the project team and other stakeholders
  • Examining and analyzing actuals against forecast & budget
  • Preparing financial reporting ensuring variances, incurred & committed results
  • Sparring partner for costs and sales reconciliations with the accounting team
  • Support process improvements (regional + global)
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and tracking any potential deviations from the estimate throughout the project’s life cycle
  • Challenge and discuss project assumptions with all levels at the project controls and management organization

What You’ll Need

  • Master in applied Economics, commercial engineering, MBA or equivalent
  • You have 5-6 years of relevant experience in finance/audit or controlling, preferable in project driven environment.
  • You have experience working in international environments
  • Financial/POC accounting know-how
  • Experience dealing in month/year end closings
  • IT minded: SAP, Excel, Oracle, Power BI and Experience implementing processes and control environments
  • Team player and goal oriented with strong analytical strengths
  • Self-reliant problem solver, you are always ahead and thinking about the next steps
  • Very good communication skills in cross functional and international exchange
  • Proactive, structured & hands-on approach to project management
  • A flexible mindset and a positive attitude, able to evolve in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Work accurate, in detail and independent
  • Fluent in English
