JOB DESCRIPTION

The 3D Systems site in Leuven is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to reinforce the existing Manufacturing Engineering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Optimize Manufacturing Operations: You will improve current and implement new operations and make suggestions for improved manufacturability and implement the changes.

• Quality improvement: Use data analysis for continuous improvement projects and promote ‘firsttime-right’. Implement further robust manufacturing operations which guarantee the stable and reliable quality we are proud of.

• Lead Uptime Optimization: In close collaboration with Production, Maintenance and Planning, work on improving our maintenance programs and production processes in order to optimize the uptime of our machine park and allow more flexibility.

• Time-To-Market : Do quick response actions and help to realize systematic solutions.

• Mechanical Engineering

• Affinity for solving technical problems, Hands-on approach

• Empathic and accessible for production colleagues

• A flair for opportunities

• Pragmatic, structured and out-of-the-box minded

• Process and continuous improvement oriented

• Communicative teamplayer

• Fluent in English, spoken and written + Dutch is recommended

• Knowledge of heat treatment wire DM is a definite plus
