NL - BIM Manager (H/F)

Responsibilities

• Give support to PM for the general BIM possibilities in the Client competence and project/client specific BIM requirements
• Create BIM protocols in contract phase
• Create execution plans with goals, requirements, conditions, and agreements for the creation and management of building models with all stake holders in the start-up of project
• Start-up and implementation of products as “BIM consultancy”, “BIM coordination”, “BIM management”, building 3D scanning
• Support in tender phase for cost estimation and BIM related tender documents
• Exchange BIM related information and tool to BIM modeller, Bim experts
• Create BIM related tools (BOQ generation, Information exchange, model share platforms…) to ease the modelling and engineering work process
• Support “BIM knowledge group” for R&D, tools, available, optimise inter-operability for tools (Expertise ICT/BIM-tools), optimal import/export procedures, improve the valorisation of data in models, VR/holograph lens, tools, improved visualisation of 3D models
• Investigate and implement BIM 4D (planning tool) and BIM 5D (cost estimate)
• Support the Community of Practise (COP) BIM
• Give training to BIM modellers (modelling & tools), Engineers (view & review tools), PM and management (contracting & R&D)
• Improve BIM processes, standardisation and evaluate certification
• To design, create and coordinate graphic models based on instructions given by the Engineer
• To comply with the Health/Safety guidelines set out in the Project Safety Plan
• To create modelling project specifications (BIM Plan)
• To develop his/her knowledge within his/her field and in design tools
• To take part in the dimensioning of simple installations/equipment based on standards, regulations, codes of practice and internal guidelines
• To establish design principles for installations/equipment/structures
• To collaborate with the Owner and the other designers in developing the project design
• To guarantee proper dimensioning of the installations/equipment/structures
• To control and monitor the creation and progress of any graphic materials and any measurement overviews
• To create measurement overviews (BOQ)
• To develop his/her knowledge within his/her field and in design tools, BIM, collaboration platforms,etc
• To take part in verifying implementation documents • Be the lead BIM reference person in the work location

Profile

• Good knowledge of Dutch. Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is welcome
• Flexible to work in the Ghent, Brussels and Hasselt offices
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience
• Be a natural communicator (both oral and written) and be able to explain complex topics in understandable language to the different stakeholders
• Good Knowledge of 2D & 3D drawing tools (Stabicad , Revit, Dynamo…)
• Design Standards (Ashrae, Reknagel, ISO, NEN, CIBSE...)
• Aeraulics + hydraulics : piping, ventilation, thermal energy production (heating, cooling, steam)
• Good knowledge HVAC, Aeraulics + hydraulics : piping, ventilation, thermal energy production (heating, cooling, steam)
• Autonomy, collaborative, reliable, high level of probity…
