We are looking for a Dutch speaking intern to join our crew of PR & brand marketeers.
At Sortlist, we are consistently earning top-tier media coverage that elevates our company’s online presence, brand awareness, reputation, visibility, and impact (not to brag but it’s pretty cool + we are very funny).
The role:
As a PR & brand marketing intern, you’ll sit right at the intersection of PR and digital marketing (& SEO but not in the nerdy way in a hipster way).
You’ll be responsible for writing pitches (mails or social media), press releases to secure PR placements in media and build a list of press contacts and find ways to cultivate relationships with journalists.
You will learn how to put our brand out there in innovative ways and craft unique newsworthy story ideas together with our amazing content team.
Looks interesting? Our ideal candidate is a motivated person, who is always up for a new challenge, wants to grow and learn as much as possible, is equally comfortable researching industry trends, analysing data to find interesting angles and network with journalists and has really good written and verbal skills in Dutch.
We believe your motivation is your biggest asset and we have so much knowledge that we are happy to share!
So what does this actually mean?

• Pitch and earn PR placements in national and local media, publications, blogs, and other websites on a regular basis
• Write pitches and press releases about our latest research, surveys, expertise, tools, and more
• Build and nurture relationships with industry journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers
• Coordinate interview arrangements and other media opportunities with our brand ambassadors
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders across SEO, content marketing, and social media teams to implement PR & branding strategies
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in our coverage and areas of opportunity
• Create and curate engaging content
• Build and update media lists and databases

Your Profile:

• You are student and available for at least 4 months
• You are interested in digital marketing, branding and PR & would love to learn more!
• You have excellent writing and communication skills
• Language: you speak Dutch and English at an excellent level
• You are a real negotiator and know how to put your PR skills to good use
• You have a go-getting, initiative-taking personality
• A love for problem solving and a detail-oriented & analytical mindset
• You are curious, rigorous and creative
• You are thirsty to learn
• You can work autonomously and have also a team-spirit
