Working knowledge of French is an asset


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· Completed university studies of 5 years in a relevant domain or 3 years with at least 6 years working experience
· Particular knowledge and experience of IFRS
· Particular knowledge of accounting in international organisations
· Particular knowledge of financial modules of ERP systems
· Proficiency in financial accounting (e.g. Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Fixed Assets, Forecasting of depreciation)
· Substantial experience (minimum 5 years) as Senior Accountant
· Broad experience in various businesses
· Sound knowledge of IFRS and/or IPSAS applied to non-profit and public sector, and public sector accounting and management practices
· Domains of expertise:
ü Accounting
ü Financial Analysis
ü Fixed Asset/Accounts Payable (AP)/Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger/ Payroll reconciliation, Cash Management
ü Being a certified accountant is desirable

DUTIES/ROLE:
· Providing support to the AFC Unit
· Providing support in the fixed asset management
· Providing support in drawing up financial statements
· Providing support in the analysis of the IFRS standards and their implementation within the Agency
· Provides specialized experience in process analysis and redesign
· Applies technical and analytical approaches to address issues related to process assessment, change management for process improvement, organizational transformation, and/or other related areas
