Job Purpose

You are responsible for ensuring compliance of Benchmark Advanced Nutrition’s (BAN) products with regional and local laws and regulations concerning relevant markets

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the compliance of the products, and the specific ingredients:

  • use of feed/probiotics/water conditioner materials and feed additives (and limits on inclusions thereof)
  • limits on biological/chemical hazards,
  • labeling

Participate in the Product Life Cycle Process regarding:

  • Use of ingredients vs laws & regulations
  • Options to register the product
  • Provide information needed for labels
  • Participate in all related meetings

Support LATAM registration and local teams

Support Quality department for audit, change of legislation, customer-specific requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor (BSc) or master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in Bioscience Engineering, Food Science, Microbiology Biotechnology Veterinary Sciences, or related
  • First work experience
  • Basic knowledge of aquaculture, legislation, and/or regulatory affairs
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control management

  • Accurate, reliable, and pragmatic within the boundaries of the tasks given
  • MS Office (proficient in Excel, familiar with Word and Power Point) and other relevant computer software skills
  • Proficient in English and Spanish communication skills
