Donaldson is looking for a Product Manager for our OEM Air Products department.

As a Product Manager, you will drive global growth and profitability through product strategy development and product innovation. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, you will support timely and effective global product launches. You will ensure assigned product lines are marketable, manufacturable, profitable and most importantly provide value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Product Portfolio Management:
  • Drive regional product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and profitability goals: Collaborate with global product teams to define and implement regional product strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall company objectives. Develop and manage product roadmaps to meet market demands and customer requirements.
  • Execute regional market expansion plans and analyze local market trends and competition: Identify growth opportunities within the EU and APAC markets, aligning product offerings to meet regional customer needs. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, recommending adjustments to the product portfolio as needed.
  • Regional Product Assignment & Market Insights:
  • Determine product assignments based on market conditions (APD, RFI, RFQ Support): Evaluate market conditions, including customer demand, technical requirements, and regulatory considerations, to determine product assignments. Provide critical support for APD (Accelerated Product Development), RFI (Request for Information), and RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes.
  • Provide market insights, sales support, and gather competitive intelligence: Act as a key liaison between the EU/APAC regions and the global product teams. Offer market insights and collaborate closely with the sales teams to drive revenue growth. Continuously gather competitive intelligence to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product management within the filtration industry or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute product strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a geographically diverse team and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of EU and APAC market conditions and customer requirements is a strong advantage.
