Project Engineer - Ghent, Belgium - €50,000 - 60,000 + Benefits

As part of our dynamic Technology Department, we are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Ghent. Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing design and engineering services for solar and energy storage projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating layouts and detailed plans for commercial and utility-scale solar systems.
  • Conducting complex site surveys with third-party experts.
  • Performing sensitivity analyses on energy yield modeling for utility-scale solar and storage plants.
  • Providing high-quality designs and calculations for renewable projects.
  • Offering consulting to internal and external stakeholders and clients.
  • Supporting the Sales team in preparing and presenting technical material.
  • Managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Ensuring compliance with company, industry, trade, and safety standards.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in Renewable Energy would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Analytical thinking with a penchant for out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French as your mother tongue, with proficiency in English.
