We are looking for a Project Management Officer in for the MPU (Manufacturing Production Unit) New IPV (polio vaccine).

This is a temporary contract (3 months - maternity leave cover)

• The incumbent of the job will be responsible for developing and managing a business continuity plan pertaining to the manufacturing activities of the New PA new IPV. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing risk management tools and operating mechanisms in accordance with GSK standards. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the complete project portfolio of the MPU, including CAPEX, OPEX, Quality & Compliance, and OE projects. This includes the development of a 5 year investment plan and preparing the yearly CAPEX budget proposal.
  

Your Responsibilities

• You manage the MPU’s project portfolio
• You prepare the yearly CAPEX budget proposal
• You establish KPIs and implement improvement plan
• You develop project management competencies within the MPU:
• You develop agile, visual and simple project Capacity management tool
• You implement Process Selection Gate (GO/NoGO) to guarantee alignment with MPU Strategic priorities
• You build Systematic RDS approach (Including alignment of current projetcs)
• You link to GPS (GSK Production System) Deployement
• You are the MPU’s representative for the applicable communities / cross site initiatives
• You manage projects within the MPU’s portfolio
  

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Engineering degree with relevant experience / certification in project management
• At least 5 years experience in project management, preferably in pharmaceutical or food industry
• Advanced project management skills
• Computer skills: thorough knowledge of MS project online & SAP
• Fluent in French
• Good knowledge of written & spoken english
  

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:

• Project Management certification is preferred and/or DMAIC certification
• be agile in terms of changing work priorities
• be close to production staff, capture their needs
