You at AGC’s Technovation Centre - part of our Pulsaart Start Up

• You will be based at the Technovation Centre close to Brussels (Belgium) where research & development, engineering and IP activities are centralized under one roof with 280 members of personnel
• More specifically you will be part of the Pulsaart (by AGC) start-up -https://www.pulsaart.com - where connectivity products for transportation-mobility are developed.
• With a dynamic team of 20 people, you will contribute to building a unique glass based antenna portfolio and operating an exclusive measurement service centre around a high tech large dimension anechoic chamber.

Your mission

Our activity is growing fast. We are looking for an RF measurement specialist to reinforce our team. Your mission will focus on developing and leading the measurement protocols and driving the long term evolution of the measurement centre.

Your tasks will include:

• Study and development of new RF measurement services (ie advanced-faster-higher frequency antenna pattern measurement, (MIMO)-OTA testing, virtual drive test, GNSS Testing, EMC-precompliance, etc…). New services will be developed by the team based on your proposal.
• Become the reference expert of the team in regard to all RF measurement protocols.
• Define testing goals based on our customer measurement specifications, write test procedures, execute tests and perform detailed post processing analysis.
• Perform technology watch on market evolution and advanced measurement technologies (participation in international conferences)

Your profile?

• Master Degree or PhD in engineering or physics or related field
• Professional experience in the field of Radio-Frequency / Micro-Wave / Millimeter Wave Test System. A previous experience with an anechoic chamber is a strong plus
• Experience at using general purpose RF test equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, etc.
• Additionally, any of these competences would be seen as an interesting advantage :
• Familiar with laboratory quality practices or standards (e.g. ISO 17025)
• Familiar with OTA (over-the-air) tests
• Familiar with electromagnetic simulations
• Familiar with channel modelling
• Familiar with ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards
• Enjoy working in a lab environment, motivated by developing efficient and user-friendly measurement and testing set-up for the team
• Curious mindset with a genuine appetite for scientific knowledge
• Flexible and comfortable in working quickly in a changing environment.
• Fluent in English. Basic knowledge of French or a willingness to learn.
