About the job
The Sales Director has as main goal to define the Go to Market for Codit in collaboration with the different stakeholders: General Managers, Domain Leads, Marketing. He/She will in this context also be responsible to define and manage the governance process together with the Business Developers.
Your Challenge:
Sales Management:
- Establish and lead a sales process and structure for the Group. Develop the sales GTM strategy and sales campaigns in strong collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
- Monitor the sales pipeline and performance, working closely together with the local GMs and/or sales staff to expedite and close opportunities (Observe balance between hunting and farming) in conjunction with the local targets and sales strategies;
- Support the continuous development of the sales team to ensure a swift transition to a sales-driven organisation;
- Comprehend the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively with a strategic plan of how to meet these from a GTM perspective;
- Lead by example and coach the team on closing big projects/tenders/partnerships;
- Responsible for a dynamic and trusted partner management with vendors, integrators, Proximus,… and represent the Organisation at conferences, meetings, and industry events;
- Develop and introduce new pricing concepts, revenue streams and billing models;
Sales & Marketing
- Ensure that the corporate marketing strategy is in line with the overall sales strategy of the various country organisations, and vice-versa. And support in the development of the strategy;
- Monitor the feeding of the Sales Repository;
Group Management and local management
- Compile and deliver consolidated sales forecasts, analysis and pipeline (Per Sector/Industry, country, solution accelerator) to senior management/the board of directors;
- Report the sales performances and support the GMs in leading and coaching their local sales staff;
- You have minimum 10 years experience in sales strategy, sales leadership and marketing or related field. You have strong leadership skills to guide and support a team of local sales teams;
- You own an in-depth knowledge of the current cloud market (knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solution selling), its needs, its opportunities, and challenges;
- You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch, French or German is a plus;
- You’ve experienced working in an international sales context;
- You are communicative, possess excellent negotiation & closing skills and you love networking;
- You own appropriate financial and P&L knowledge to interpret and report project results. A solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves monitoring project profitability;
- You will foster a good balance between the sales drive and the operational excellence of the company;
