The Security team at Basware focuses on the protection of assets against internal and external threats to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

In the role of a Security Manager, your main duties will be focusing on providing advisory on security topics towards Basware customers, and leading supplier security management. This will include:
  • Answering customer questions and questionnaires for existing customers and sales prospects
  • Leading contract negotiations for security topics
  • Maintaining security sales documentation towards customers and internal stakeholders
  • Leading security requirement backlog activities
  • Leading customer audits and compliance activities
  • Defining and maintaining security requirements for suppliers
  • Analyzing supplier security posture
  • Designing, and maintaining documentation, processes, and policies
You will also drive and participate in development projects to ensure continuous improvement of processes, tools, and solutions, advise internal stakeholders on security topics and perform other security tasks assigned to you. When the situation is back to normal, you will be positioned at a Basware office in the Nordics with some remote working possibility and occasionally be traveling mainly to other Basware locations when needed.

You will collaborate with external partners, customers, and different organizational units including product management, R&D, production/operations to fulfill tasks assigned to you.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Previous work experience in advising customers
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in total in two or more security domain areas of:
    • Access Control, Telecommunications and Network Security, Information Security Governance and Risk Management, Software Development Security, Cryptography, Security Architecture and Design, Operations Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Legal & Regulations & Investigations and Compliance, or Physical (Environmental) Security
    • Strong knowledge of several security domain areas
    • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and other security standards and best practices
    • Technical knowledge of IT systems and could environments
    • Experience in leading projects, development activities, or key initiatives
    • Ability to create processes and documentation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
We furthermore value, if you have some of the following:
  • Several years of experience working with customers and suppliers
  • Broad experience in several security domains
  • Experience in RFx process and contract negotiations
  • Technical experience in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience in compliance to meet security requirements
  • Experience in designing measures to address and improve the security posture of environments
  • Relevant security certifications and education
