We are seeking a Senior Buyer to optimize purchasing and stock processes while acting as a key link between suppliers, production, and warehouse teams.

In this senior role, you will manage the flow of goods and ensure stock levels are maintained through timely and accurate purchasing actions. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, production, and quality teams to monitor deliveries, address deviations, and track supplier performance. You will maintain ERP systems to support purchasing processes and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Manage order placement, call-offs, and stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production and warehouse operations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues proactively.
  • Track supplier performance, KPIs, and compliance with agreements.
  • Maintain ERP and other systems to accurately reflect purchasing and stock data.
  • Report to the Purchasing Manager and support cross-functional collaboration between departments.

What we expect from you

  • Degree in economic, supply chain, logistics or business field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain with a focus on order and stock management.
  • Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
