Senior Corporate Controller

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Corporate Controllerfor a permanent position based in Leuven.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the renewable energy sector.

As Senior Corporate Controlleryou will be responsible for:

• Support the Management Team in steering the value creation of the company;
• Monitor and analyze by using financial indicators in the financial models the value creation of new and existing businesses/projects by challenging their business plan and safeguarding uniformity in analyses and assumptions within the group;
• Design and perform analyses to drive business decisions within the financial models;
• Focus on value creation on both the operational as on the financial and fiscal level;
• Model the economic, fiscal and accounting impact of new projects in collaboration with internal/external specialists;
• Monitor both the short and long-term cash planning of the group to support potential investments and M&A;
• Review financial models of new potential investments;
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for stakeholders (management team, board meeting, banks, shareholders);
• Conduct one-off or regular analyses on more specific and complex financial aspects in cooperation with the relevant departments;
• Participate and contribute to continuously improving reporting, controlling and planning processes.
• Provide financial support over the lifetime of the different projects in a multi-stakeholder environment;

The required profile for the Senior Corporate Controller position:

• You obtained a master’s degree in finance;
• You have more than five years of relevant experience;
• You have a good ability to understand the business and its interactions. More in particular you have a good understanding of the financial, fiscal and regulatory aspects and their implications on the business and ability to generate value;
• You have a good knowledge of valuation methods and financial modelling;
• You have a good knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS norms. Knowledge of consolidation is a plus;
• You are an advanced user of MS Office and you are familiar with ERP and reporting systems;
• You are organized enough to be able to track multiple projects and perform several tasks at the same time;
• You are accurate and have strong analytical skills;
• You have strong social and communicative skills and can work both in team as autonomous;
• You speak and write fluently English and Dutch. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
