Job Description

Trasys International offers IT Consulting jobs at the European Institutions andInternational Organizations.

For a project at the European Commission premises in Brussels, Trasys International is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer. The consultant should have large experience in development of complex applications on Java Stack on a cloud environment.

The Main Related Tasks To This Position Are The Following

The person who will fill in the position will need to work inside a team composed of different profiles, with an internal development team and also with business user groups, so we need a good communicator/negotiator.
  • Develop software with technologies: Spring, SpringBoot, SpringData, SpringMvc, SpringSecurity, Hibernate, Java, SQL using an AWS environment
  • Develop according to the SOLID principles () and OOO Patterns
  • Develop with unit testing philosophy
  • Performs code reviews in constructive and active manner.
  • Can develop in in Clean Architecture / Hexagonal architecture / Domain Driven Development
  • Work within a team of developers and have a constructive attitude in terms of contributing to the team spirit , philosophy and culture.
  • Analysis of the integration of different information systems
  • Data analysis and data modelling.
  • Production of software architecture documents
  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
  • Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting
Requirements
  • You have a master’s level or 5 years of higher education in Information Technology or equivalent by experience;
  • You have at least 11 years of experience in Software development;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of:
Spring, SpringBoot, SpringData, SpringMvc, SpringSecurity, Hibernate, Java, SQL;
  • You have a very good understanding of SOLID principles, OOO Patterns and distributed systems architecture such as: Microservices, Event Driven Development;
  • You are a Team Player: open minded, understand and accept importance of UnitTests and code reviews as essential part of our development;
  • You have an experience/understanding of concepts defined by: Clean Architecture / Hexagonal architecture / Domain Driven Development;
  • You have multiple years’ work experience with WebLogic application server or Tomcat and with Spring framework, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring integration;
  • You have experience with application security (Web security, authentication and authorization protocols e.g.: OIDC, SSO, CAS, JWT), integration projects and Linux;
  • You are familiar with one of Commercial Cloud providers: AWS(EC2)/AZURE/GCP;
  • Advanced level of English.
Nationality and Security Clearance

As a Personal Security Clearance of level "EU SECRET/SECRET EU" might be requested for this profile, only candidates with a valid EU citizenship will be taken into consideration.
