Guided by our four values: Courage, Joy, Equity and Excellence, our breakthrough culture lends itself to our dedication to transforming millions of lives.Location: BrusselsAbout The RoleThe Senior Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) Vaccines is the medical scientific companies’ Point of Contact for health care professionals, medical societies, regulators, academia, and other external scientific stakeholders.The Senior MAS is responsible for maintaining the highest scientific standards, independence, and compliance in every medical/scientific external activity, as well as in scope internal processes.Main responsibilities
  • The Senior MAS Vaccines will be responsible to execute on strategic partnerships with internal and external key stakeholders during the entire lifecycle of the Pfizer Vaccines portfolio.
  • The candidate has to provide focused relevant information in response to customer-stated needs to maintain a vaccines leadership position and drive medical scientific needs at the national, regional, and corporate level.
  • Able to partner with high level scientific Key Opinion Leaders at peer level.
  • Optimally informed about the scientific environment with regards to protocols, guidelines etc.
  • Leads medical to medical communications in the field.
  • Scientific expert for Healthcare Providers, Medical Societies, Academia, and other relevant key scientific stakeholders.
  • Plans and executes medical scientific strategic plans, as per specialty role.
About You
  • Medical, para-medical, pharmacy and/or postgraduate level science degree.
  • A Medical Doctor or PhD title is considered a plus.
  • 5+ year experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry or post graduate experience preferably in related area.
  • In-depth knowledge of the therapy area is necessary.
  • A foundational understanding of the national and regional health environment including its structure, policy, key members and scientific societies.
  • A solid understanding of clinical research and the ability to critically evaluate clinical study protocols, reports, and publications.
  • French (C1), Dutch (C1) & Business English (C1)
