The Site Supply Lead Lummen is responsible for the supply point Lummen within the Cream network as part of the Customer SC Professional. This entails the function of Scheduling, Material Planning (Lummen & Nuenen), and Inventory Coordination (full Professional EU network).


As Site Supply Lead Lummen you are responsible to deliver high value products (spray cans, PET, Bag in Box) at agreed market service. To meet these standards it’s required to manage the operational production schedule, plan the availability of raw/pack material for production, and ensure that our products are replenished throughout the EU network at the right markets. Together with the Supply Network Planners of Cream (functional reporting) you create and facilitate S&OP decisions, and deliver input for strategic network development (e.g. CAPEX) to drive commercial ambitions.


A strong team of 6 direct FTE and 8 indirect FTE is reporting to the Site Supply Lead Lummen. The role is Lummen based and is part of the Lummen Site Management Team with a minimal of 3-4 days per week at location. Monthly visits to the Amersfoort Office are expected to strengthen the broader SC connection. The Site Supply Lead Lummen reports to the Manager Supply Planning Cream FC-P. A functional reporting to the Lummen Site Director is in place to underline the plant connection.

Wat we vragen

  • Master or Bachelor Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management
  • APICS (or equivalent) certification in case Master/Bachelor degree is not in SC Management
  • Knowledge of planning and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, MPS and MRP
  • Experience in working in multi-functional groups and matrix organization
  • Managerial experience in one of the customer supply chain domains
  • Understanding of integral Dairy Supply chain (from raw milk to end product)
  • Ability to share and convey the Customer SCs vision
  • Capable to build a true relation of trust with both commercial and supply chain business partners
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills
  • Good Communication and clear decision making capabilities
  • Adaptability to work throughout all organizational layers
  • Transformation / Change management capabilities
  • Fluency in English

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing the Lummen supply planning team
  • Supporting Cream S&OP cycle scenario input
  • Responsible for operational / daily planning horizon and supporting the tactical / strategic horizon for scope Lummen, driving Service, Cash and Costs.
  • Part of, and key contact for, the Lummen Plant Management Team. Having a functional reporting line the Site Director Lummen.
  • Responsible for RCCP for the Lummen supply point as part of the Cream network as input for Commercial 12Q plans and CAPEX budget
  • Responsible for translation of the Cream Supply strategy and the Lummen site (Make) vision into one tactical Lummen Supply roadmap."

This role is part of the Cream portfolio Supply team within the Customer SC of FC Professional. Additionally, the role is part of the Lummen Site Management Team with functional reporting to the Site Director. The Lummen Supply team consist of 6 direct FTE and 8 indirect FTE. All of which are based in Lummen (BE). The total team consist of Schedulers, Material Lead/Specialist/Planners and Inventory Coordinators. The Supply Planners Cream (3 FTE) have a functional reporting line to the Site Supply Lead Lummen.


The total S&OP and Supply Planning team is a talent driven team with a growth mindset to support the ambition of the Professional business. We are responsible for the planning of the Cream, Butter and Encaps network.
