As Senior Equipment Engineerat ASM, you’ll have the opportunities to get involved in a wider scope of work compared to our larger competitors. While the workload is challenging, you are given the independence and autonomy to perform at your peak. You will be working in the technical support team at our R&D unit located in Belgium, Leuven, which is responsible for keeping our tools and facilities up and running to enable uninterrupted R&D project work. We expect you to be motivated and self-driven with the ability to organize your work effectively.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibility will be maintenance and troubleshooting of ASM process equipment (thermal and plasma ALD tools) followed by the following:

• Design and implement improvements to ASM tools
• Assist process engineers in tool related tasks
• Written reporting and documentation of work done
  
  

Requirements

• Ideally, we’re looking for someone who has the following knowledge and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of engineering or science with >1 year work experience
• Knowledge of vacuum technology
• Some experience with chemicals
• Aware of safety measures of working in semiconductor environment
• Mechanical related experience (tools like reactors for silicon wafers, vacuum technology) tools: gas lines, heaters, pumps
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and process flow diagrams
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English
