Functieomschrijving
As Sr. Materials and Process equipment engineer you have a consultancy role as well for our Client as for your less experienced colleagues within Sweco. You also take the role of Lead Process Equipment Engineer in our EPCm Project teams..

  • You advice our Clients concerning Material selection, Corrosion and other materials related issues.
  • You coach and advice your colleagues concerning Materials but also concerning Process Equipment Engineering in general.
  • You take the role of Lead Process Equipment Engineer in multidisciplinary Project Teams. This includes:
    • Preparing data sheets and equipment specifications for various static equipment such as: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks and silos.
    • Coordinating with colleagues for the Rotating Equipment in the Project Scope.
    • Taking responsibility for the correct design of equipment and the follow-up of suppliers regarding documentation and manufacture of the purchased equipment.
    • Budget estimating of Process Equipment.
    • Preparing and performing and reporting on FAT’s for Process Equipment.

Wie zoeken we
  • Preferably you have a master in Welding Engineering, or you have developed similar expertise during your career.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience as a Material and/or Process Equipment Engineer, preferably with experience in Engineering for the Chemical Industry.
  • As a Sr Materials & Equipment Engineer you have an excellent knowledge of standards that relate to the above activities, including ASME, API, EN, PED, ATEX, machine directive.
  • You have thorough knowledge about materials and material selection, welding and corrosion issues.
  • You have a sense of initiative and responsibility. You are dynamic, punctual and have an eye for detail.
  • Given your frequent contacts with clients and suppliers, your communication skills are at a high level.
  • You like coaching Jr Colleagues
  • Required language skills: Dutch and English
