Our system solutions are designed and delivered to provide the highest lifecycle value with the lowest risk. In order to reinforce our SCM team in Zaventem we are currently looking for a BUYER.

Your responsibilities
  • Sourcing, selecting and negotiating the best purchase package in terms of quality, pricing and terms with suppliers for internal and external vendors / factories and / or contractors.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders and other relevant documents according to company directives and guidelines.
  • Planning and managing inventory levels of materials and products.
  • Ensuring complete and updated purchasing records and pricing in the applicable application.
  • Preparing reports and summarizing data including spend analysis.
  • Expediting upon order confirmation and further coordination upon Critical Purchase orders.
  • Supporting the Sales and Technical departments with quotations for tenders.
  • Handling and monitoring Non conformities and the related claims to factories and vendors.
  • Coordinating on time delivery with suppliers and sub-contractors.
Your background
  • Education (minimum bachelor level);
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position in a more technical environment;
  • Experienced with SAP is a pre, especially MM, SD and PP modules, is required;
  • Good knowledge of English/Dutch is a must, knowledge of French or German is an asset;
  • You have excellent organizational skills and set priorities easily;
  • You are customer focused and have the ability to cope with the pressure of meeting demanding targets and working towards tight deadlines;
  • You have an analytical mindset with an eye for detail;
  • You have the potential to take the lead of a small team
  • You are a true team player.
