Functional Analyst

for Accounting & Reporting Solutions

Accounting & Reporting Solutionsteam, that is part of the OFSSolutions department at Client Finance, is looking for a candidate to ensure the role of Functional Analyst.

The Accounting & Reporting Solutionsteam is responsible to:

· identify and ensure local business requirementsare correctly implemented into Finance systems and outbounds.

· ensure efficient and qualitative BNPP Finance systems functionalitiesrespecting local user requirements, deadlines and budget.

· lead local Finance projectsand contribute to Group projects/evolutions related to Finance Systems, Regulatory Reporting (financial, management accounting, liquidity, solvency, ALM, credit risk).

· act as interfacebetween the project owner and the project management.

· manage risk, quality and issues.

· participate in testing.

· ensure change managementtowards BNPP Fortis users (Accounting & Reporting Teams, Management Control, ALM, Credit Risk, Permanent Control).

· identify and define process optimisation.propose/contribute to initiatives to remediate to Data Quality issuesand inconsistencies

Function description

Your mission will mainly consist of the analysis and resolution of data quality issues, the improvement of the functionalities of SAR (Analytical Accounting System) and its outbounds towards the ALMT (Agapes) and Management Accounting Reporting tools (Solaar), the identification of local Finance and ALMT business needs and their implementation into the systems.

To reach this objective, you will:

- Contribute to the Project of ALMT Group Benchmark Transfer Prices towards Reporting tools: prepare input for Operational Committees, UAT, coordinate and manage OFS Finance system evolution.

- Analyze analytical accountingdata in OFS Finance systems (SAR) and Management accounting Tool (Solaar).

- Provide Supportto ALMT / Finance users in case of issues (data quality, functional), questions, business requirements.

- Identifythe root causeof the issue across systems from Operating System to Reporting tools.

- Writeclear and complete business requirements / specifications.

- Propose,contributeto the definition of the short-term & long-term solutions.

- Documentthe solutions and the processes.

- Act as intermediarybetween local Fortis end users and the project team.

- Ensure business requirementsare correctly implemented into OFS and its outbounds.

- Prepare, Coordinate, execute testingby detailed analysis of delivered vs expected results.

- Contribute to evolutions, projectsled by the Group and assess the impacts on our entity.

- Ensure proactive and clear communicationto the Management and the different stakeholders (COO Finance, Management Accounting, ALMT).

Education

Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in Finance / Accounting / Business Management

Required experience / knowledge

At least 8 yearsof experience in accounts reporting, control or consolidation processes/ products

Technical experience:

Mandatory:

• Good expertise in MS Office, SQL, Access,Synthetic and Clear Communication

Preferable:

• Business Objects, Cognos

• OFS BNP Paribas General Accounting System (is a Plus)
  

Business experience:

Mandatory

• Management Accounting,

• Financial Regulatory Reporting,

• Good understanding of workflow processes

• Banking Accounting knowledge, IFRS ALMT (Transfer Price)
